Music vs. Everything else in life.

It seems that my interest in music and my interests in teaching and writing all conflict, and that sucks. I want to be a DO so that I can hold onto my interest in music, because that would make my life. That means, though, that I have to keep my music composition minor, which is doable, but hard. 23 credits at one time of level 300 classes? Yeah, hard. But I'm going to do it. I'm not going to give into the pressures of society to get rid of something I love for something more practical. I'm going to take summer classes so that I can graduate in four years. I figured out that I only have to take like 10 or so summer classes to do that- that's only one or two summers!

I was also thinking of student teaching abroad, since being an education major now forbids me from, if I wanna graduate in four years, studying abroad. But you can student teach abroad. So I'm looking into that :D

Twenty-three credits? Eek! Good luck! Just don't drive yourself insane. A ninth semester wouldn't be the end of the world. But summers seem to be the way to go.

I wish you good fortune with working out student-teaching abroad; that sounds like it would be quite an exhilarating experience!

9 is an odd number, though. So is graduating in five years, so is graduating in the year 2013.

I hate odd numbers.
